Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia- January 19th, 2025

We had an incredible Sustainable Trails Workshop at Fort Yargo Sate Park with Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites,  the Yargo Trail Crew,  and Northeast Georgia SORBA this past  Saturday January 18th.

Trail folk from across North Georgia came to learn best practices of sustainable trail design and maintenance for volunteers who work on trails on public lands.

We had folks from fellow Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association chapters and hikers and trail runners as well.

Trails Education is a pillar of our non profit work and this workshop represents a $2,950 contribution to our partners from MTB Atlanta but the knowledge that these volunteers gained will pay untold dividends as they apply their new found skills doing volunteer trail work across North Georgia!

Thanks to all who came out and to Fort Yargo State Park staff for providing their amazing conference room and for giving us access and great trails to ride at the park!
